In an exclusive interview with Channel 24, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, commented on the actions of regimes that refuse to comply with international rules. According to him, in the near future the world will watch how these states will feel the consequences of their actions.

Budanov emphasized that the key tool for influencing law violators is spot operations and measures aimed at destabilizing their resources and capabilities. He also analyzed recent US actions in Venezuela and Iran. In particular, the operation of American troops in Venezuela and the strikes of bombers on strategic objects in Iran became an important signal for Russia, demonstrating the seriousness of Washington’s position towards violators of international law.
“The situation is very interesting, it is developing dynamically, and this trend will be maintained. Significant forces of the American fleet have already approached the operational areas from which it is possible to operate on the territory of Venezuela. Marine infantry groups, deployed field hospitals – everything is technically prepared for the operation,” said Kyrylo Budanov.
“In the near future, we will all observe what happens to those regimes that do not want to live according to civilized rules, use drugs and oil as a tool, and deal with people who should not be dealt with,” the head of the GUR emphasized.
“Recently, the world saw a very professional operation in Iran, when point bombings were demonstratively carried out from the territory of the United States. The strikes were carried out directly from the territory of the United States, without using jump-off airfields. This demonstrated the power, greatness and ability to reach any point on the globe,” said Kyrylo Budanov.
Budanov warned about the risks regarding Western aid after the Mindich case.
