It is likely that the high rates of Russian attacks with the help of UAVs, which were observed in September and October, will become a common phenomenon for Ukraine, reports the British Ministry of Defense with reference to intelligence data.

“During the first week of November, the intensity of Russian launches remained high and corresponded to the indicators of recent weeks. Since the launch pads are quite simple and can easily be restored if needed, if production remains unhindered, the main limiting factor for Russian UAV operations is most likely human resources relative to launch capacity,” the statement said.

According to intelligence, with continued Russian investment in UAVs, diversification of supplies and expansion of launch sites, the number of launches will increase steadily from mid-2024.

The British Ministry of Defense adds that about 2,000 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched by Russia against Ukraine during October 2024 – this is about 700 units more than in September, and the figure has increased significantly for the third month in a row.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukraine with various types of weapons, most recently with attack UAVs.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army released more than 2,000 kamikaze drones over Ukraine in October alone.
