Great Britain will continue the Interflex operation to train Ukrainian servicemen on its territory until 2025.

British Defense Minister John Gealy said this in an interview with Ukrinform during his visit to Kyiv.

He reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to continue to lead the training of fighters as part of Operation Interflex throughout 2025.

“Even if hostilities cease, your need for military training, for defense assistance, for the solidarity and support that the UK can provide to your country will not disappear,” he added.

The minister also noted that during meetings with the Ukrainian foreign minister, Rustem Umerov, he discussed how Britain can strengthen Ukraine’s military-industrial complex “so that it becomes an important part of your ability to fight today and defend yourself together with your allies in the future.”

It will be recalled that the Minister of Defense of Great Britain, John Geely, arrived in Kyiv on December 18.

Earlier, the new defense minister of Great Britain, John Gealy, called unwavering support for Ukraine his “number one priority”.

The British Defense Minister assessed the possibility that the USA would withdraw its country from NATO.
