“We are increasing investment in our preparations following the Prime Minister’s announcement this week to ensure the UK Armed Forces are ready to deploy and lead a multinational force in Ukraine, because a secure Ukraine means a secure UK,” Gealy said.
Gealy’s visit to Kyiv came days after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised to send troops to Ukraine as part of a “coalition of the determined” force.
The size of such forces has not yet been announced. According to the mass media, the total number may be 15 thousand people, half of which will be provided by Great Britain.
