Details: Cooper emphasized that the center of diplomacy is currently in Ukraine and its closest allies.
“We see great dedication to the work that Ukraine is doing with the support of the US and Europe to develop peace plans, including security guarantees. But so far I see no evidence that Putin is ready to sit down at the negotiating table or hold discussions,” the minister emphasized.
That is why, according to her, the pressure on Moscow should be increased – and it should be done with the help of sanctions and military support.
“I think we still have to be ready, along with this really important work, to increase pressure, economic pressure, and with the help of military support for Ukraine, military pressure on Russia,” Cooper added.
