Manufacturers and suppliers of machines, electronics and dual -use goods for the Russian military, including microprocessors used in weapons systems, came under British sanctions.

It is noted that they are based in a number of third countries, including the countries of Central Asia, Turkey, Thailand, India and China, which is the largest supplier of critical goods for the Russian military.

In particular, sanctions were imposed against the Minister of Defense of North Korea, Kwan Chchol and other North Korean generals and high -ranking officials who are involved in the deployment of more than 11,000 DPRK servicemen in Russia.

Britain also imposed sanctions on 13 Russian purposes, including Grant-Trade LLC, its owner Marat Mustafayev and his sister Dinar Mustafayev, who used the company to supply advanced European technologies to Russia to support its illegal war.

For the first time, Britain was aiming at foreign financial institutions that support the Russian military machine, in particular, Kirgiz Kergiet Bank was included in Kyrgyzstan, undermining Russia’s use of the international financial system to support its military efforts.

New sanctions will increase the pressure on Putin’s energy revenues, in particular, another 40 vessels of the “shadow fleet” were transported by Russian oil. Thus, the total number of oil tankers who have been sanctioned by the United Kingdom reached 133 – the highest figure among all countries in Europe.

In addition, Britain has hit 14 “new kleptocrats” sanctions, some of which heads the strategic sectors of the Russian economy. Among them is Roman Trotsenko, one of Russia’s richest people with $ 2.2 billion.

Foreign Minister David Lemmy stated that this package, the largest in three years, emphasizes the dedication of the United Kingdom to Ukraine.

“Every destroyed line of military supply, every blocked ruble, every exposed manner of Putin’s aggression is a step to a fair and long peace, as well as to security and prosperity in the United Kingdom, which is part of the change of change of this government,” he said.

Prehistory:

  • On the day of the third anniversary of the full -scale Russian invasion of the territory of Ukraine, it approved 16th package of sanctions against Russia.
  • The new package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation touches on vital sectors of the Russian economy, further weakening the ability of the regime to conduct an illegal, unexpected and unjustified invading war against Ukraine.
  • In particular, the Council of the EU Council agreed a package of 83 names consisting of 48 persons and 35 organizations responsible for actions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
  • Last week, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto promised to oppose the continuation of EU sanctions against more than 2400 people and organizations, including Russian leader Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
