At night, the border guards of the “Hertz” department of the Chernivtsi detachment, using an unmanned aerial vehicle, spotted two people heading to the Ukrainian-Romanian border. The State Border Service of Ukraine informs about this.
The response team immediately went to the specified area. Thanks to aerial surveillance, the violators were quickly apprehended. They turned out to be residents of the Vinnytsia region, who admitted that they planned to illegally cross the border at night.
The detainees were taken to the border unit, where they were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (“Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”).
