Ukrainian boxer Sergey Bogachuklost the status of a compulsory contender for a title battle and dropped from the first position to eighth place.
On September 14, Las Vegas hosted a boxing match, which called a large number of fans and experts the main confrontation of the year. The 35-year-old absolute world champion in the second medium weight category Mexican Saul Alvarez (63–3–3, 39 KO) met with the 2nd Absolute World Champion 37-year-old American Terens Crawford (42–0, 31 KO).
In the undercard, his next confrontation was held by the Ukrainian boxer of the first middle category, 30-year-old Sergey Bogachuk (26-3, 24 KOs). His opponent was 36-year-old American Brandon Adams (26-4, 16 KO)-the Ukrainian lost the judge’s decision.
