According to interlocutors, US officials have prepared a number of options for increasing economic pressure on Russia for Trump.
At the same time, they warned that Trump has not yet made a decision because diplomatic efforts are ongoing. They refused to tell in detail what options were being considered, and stated that any decision remains with the President.
Recall:
- After meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the Vatican, Trump criticized the last strikes of Russia in Ukrainian cities and expressed doubts that the Kremlin’s master Putin wanted to end the war and threatened him with sanctions.
