In November, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out at least 14 attacks on Russian oil refineries with the help of drones – this is the maximum number of attacks in a month since the beginning of the war. Bloomberg writes about this with reference to the public statements of the countries.

Oil facilities and tankers carrying Russian oil were also attacked last month. So, at the end of last week, according to a Bloomberg source, Ukraine attacked two tankers in the Black Sea. Another tanker, which used to transport Russian oil, suffered from explosions near the coast of the capital of Senegal.

On the evening of November 28, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported an attack by naval drones on the vessels of the Russian “shadow fleet” Kairos and Virat near the coast of the Turkish province of Kocaeli. Both vessels are under sanctions of the EU, Great Britain, Switzerland and the United States and were on their way to Novorossiysk, where on the night of November 29, the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (KTC), which exports more than 80% of Kazakhstan’s oil, was also attacked and disabled by sea unmanned boats.

As a result, one of the three remote mooring devices from which oil is loaded onto sea tankers was damaged. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan announced that it will redirect oil exports via alternative routes.

The Kremlin called the Ukrainian attack on the CPC and tankers a “flagrant” case, since “it is an object of international importance and with international participation.”

Bloomberg notes that Russian forces continue regular attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and civilian objects, including residential buildings.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

According to the latest UN data, in Ukraine in 2025, the number of civilian deaths from long-range weapons increased by 26%, and the number of wounded – by 75%.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
