Details: It is reported that a few hours after the power is switched off, the Chile Government has declared a state of emergency. The curfew was installed from 22:00 pm to 6:00 am local time.

Interior Minister Karolina Toha said the cause of the Blackaus was an accident on the transmission line, eliminating the possibility of cyberattacks.
To support the order, the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched the Armed Forces throughout the country.
Literally: “As of 10:00 pm local time, about 25% of the needs of the power grid was restored. Juan Carlos Olmedo, Chairman of the Board of the National Coordinator on Chile (CEN), said the complete recovery of power supply could take place in the morning.”
Details: President Chile Gabriel Borich in a late night address to the nation said that the shutdown had affected 8 million households, but the power supply has already been restored in about half of them.
“We have activated several power plants, mainly hydroelectric power plants,” said CEN Ernesto Huber Executive Director. He also added that the cause of the accident is still investigating.
