US President Joe Biden plans to press Chinese leader Xi Jinping during their latest meeting at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. This is reported by Sky News, writes UNN.

Details

As the publications note, Biden will use his latest meeting with Xi Jinping to convince him to refuse North Korea from further deepening its support for Russia’s war against Ukraine.

At the same time, today’s talks, which will take place on the sidelines of the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Peru, will take place a little more than two months before Biden leaves office.

It is known that this will be the last official meeting of Biden with the Chinese leader.

At the same time, according to the publication’s anonymous sources, during the last meeting, Biden will seek from Xi Jinping to strengthen cooperation with China in order to prevent further escalation of the already dangerous situation in relations with North Korea.

We will remind

As I wrote earlier UNN the US and Chinese presidents will meet on November 16 at the APEC summit in Lima to discuss key issues of cooperation. Topics include military contacts, China’s support for Russia, cyber attacks and human rights.
