The Oscar winner, 49, supposedly made a profile on the app that included several pictures of her and even linked back to her Instagram profile, proving it was really her, according to The Sun.
They reported that she isn’t using her real name on the app but is only going by ‘C.’
Other celebs rumoured in the past to be on Raya include Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne, Romeo Beckham, and Paul Mescal.
The exclusive dating app requires that new users are referred by a member or face a lengthy application process to get accepted.
As well as high-powered business people, the app gives users the opportunity to land a date with several celebrities who benefit from the privacy the app offers – possibly including Charlize.
The actress is supposedly just going by ‘C’ on the app (Picture: Emma McIntyre/Getty Images for Critics Choice Association) Kiss FM presenter Tinea Taylor told Metro of the app: ‘I’ve never been on a dating site apart from Raya and Raya is supposed to be for if you’re in some form of industry like tech, music, and it’s kind of like a members thing and you have to be accepted, you can’t just sign up one drunken night with your mates and make an account and start scrolling, you have to wait.
‘I’ve got friends who have waited months and months to be accepted and then there’s the referrals, so if I’m on it you can refer a friend so when they do their accreditation they’re more likely to get accepted.’
Despite how exciting it might seem to possibly match with a celebrity, Tinea admits that the app isn’t all its cracked up to be.
‘I’ll tell you what, it’s not amazing,’ she continued. ‘Everybody’s a CEO on there! Every man – ‘cos I’m into men – every man on there is “CEO of duh-duh-duh” or just “entrepreneur”. And I’m going through the pictures like there’s not much work here, it’s a lot of travel and fun, so there’s a lot of those on there.

I’m always so intrigued as to what their bio is or their 10 pictures they’ve chosen and we have a good laugh about it.’
Hopefully, Charlize is having a better time finding love on the app, which she reportedly joined after splitting from model beau Alex, who she was linked to back in May.
Alex has moddelled for brands such as Malbon Golf, AG Green Label, The Elder Statesman, and Combo Boxing.
Charlize has had a long dating history; previously dating, fellow Oscar winner Sean Penn for two years before splitting in 2015.

Charlize is the mother of two adopted daughters: Jackson, 12, and August, nine.
The Hollywood A-lister has previously spoken out about the powerlessness she felt as a woman in Hollywood, with a male director making her dress a certain way just to make her look ‘f**kable’ in a film.
The actress told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘Having absolutely no control over what you’re wearing is a big one that really f**king annoyed me for years.
‘Having some guy make you have a fitting almost in front of them – stuff like that, it’s really belittling.

‘And I remember one movie in particular, this male director who just kept bringing me in, fitting after fitting after fitting after…
‘And it was just so obvious that it was to do with my sexuality and how f**kable they could make me in the movie. And when I started out, that was just kind of the norm.’
The actress has worked to be a corrective force in the industry to ensure that young actresses do not have to experience the same things she did, adding: ‘There’s a natural fight in me to want to create environments that feel like the things that I wish I had 30 years ago when I started.’
Given how busy Cahrlize is reshaping the industry, it makes sense that she’s too busy to meet romantic prospects in person. If she really is trying her luck on Raya, more power to her.
