Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years after her wedding in Georgia, citing April 26 as the divorce date and citing irreconcilable differences.
She filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court without an attorney, asking for no child support payments to either party and to split attorney fees.
In addition, the star also asked to return her former name – Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
A week after she filed, Lopez felt “relieved,” according to a source close to the star, who added: “She didn’t want a divorce. She wanted to deal with the situation. They love each other. Jennifer is not one to it just seems so.”
