BEB exposed the embezzlement of over UAH 8 million during the construction of a shelter in Lviv

The construction of the shelter in the Lviv lyceum was connected with the overestimation of the prices of construction materials — this was established by the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB). The construction of the shelter in the Lviv lyceum was connected with the overestimation of the prices of construction materials — this was established by the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB).

According to the BEB press service, the total cost of the project was UAH 54.9 million, of which UAH 46.2 million was financed within the framework of the Ukraine Facility initiative in accordance with the framework agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Specialists of the territorial management of the BEB in the Lviv region sent recommendations to the local authorities on reducing the amount of contractual obligations under the contract.

As a result, the customer agreed to this correction, which made it possible to prevent the wastage of international technical assistance in the amount of UAH 8.6 million.

It will be recalled that the BEB launched the “Economic Shield” project.

BEB also exposed a chain of stores that sold fake clothes and shoes under the guise of global brands.
