In Zaporizhzhia, 14 people were injured as a result of a Russian ballistic missile attack on a kindergarten on Monday, October 21. Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, announced this.
The Russians hit a residential quarter of the city with ballistic missiles on Monday morning. The two-story kindergarten building was partially destroyed. The State Emergency Service reported that rescuers unblocked three people from under the rubble.
In addition to the kindergarten, two garages, an outbuilding and 26 cars were damaged.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing, there are probably more people under the rubble, the State Emergency Service reported.
Earlier on October 21, there were explosions in Zaporizhzhia. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the threat of using ballistic weapons from the east and Crimea.
