The attacks that took place in various regions resulted in significant damage to power grids, which required urgent measures to ensure the stability of the power system.
“The enemy inflicted a massive attack with drones and missiles on substations and overhead lines of 750 kV and 330 kV. As a result, nuclear power plants were forced to reduce their generation capacity,” – said a message in Telegram on Saturday morning.
In a crisis situation, the balancing of the energy system is carried out by importing electricity and introducing restrictions. In accordance with the order of NEC “Ukrenergo”, the volume of emergency power outages has increased in Ukraine, affecting many regions. These measures are aimed at avoiding interruptions in the supply of electricity and reducing the load on damaged lines.
On the night of February 7, Russia carried out a missile-drone attack on Khmelnytskyi region, as a result of which a man born in 1971 suffered a leg injury.
In the Kyiv region, in the city of Yagotyn is eliminated a fire caused by an enemy drone attack.
