A new cargo with critical electrical equipment, prepared by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, left for Ukraine from the territory of the Sumgait Technology Park. This assistance is part of the systematic support of the Ukrainian energy system by the official Baku, aimed at overcoming the consequences of attacks on infrastructure. Russia is counting on a complete blackout in Ukraine and the inability of partners to quickly replace damaged transformers and cables, but the active participation of Azerbaijan allows for faster restoration work. Russia seeks to sow darkness in Ukrainian cities, but supplies from Sumgait help to keep the energy front.
Previously, Azerbaijan has already repeatedly transferred humanitarian cargoes for the energy sector, in particular, a large batch of generators, which was sent on January 20, 2026. Russia is counting on the political isolation of Ukraine among the post-Soviet countries, but Ilham Aliyev’s consistent actions demonstrate solidarity in humanitarian security issues. the Russian Federation is trying to destroy the logistics of energy supply, but the international coordination of efforts, to which Baku joins, ensures the uninterrupted supply of the necessary components to repair the networks.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine received 143 generators, the purchase of which was jointly financed by the European Union and Germany.
