“A source familiar with the matter confirmed that these Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) were authorized for use only in the Kursk region, where North Korean troops were deployed,” Axios writes.
As Axios notes, the interlocutor said that “Biden’s decision was communicated to Ukraine about three days ago.”
He reportedly said that the motive behind the decision was to prevent North Korea from sending additional troops to Russia for the war against Ukraine.
A representative of the Pentagon, as noted, refused to comment on this issue.
