What happened before: former deputy of the People’s Republic of Ukraine and member of the supervisory board of “Ukrzaliznytsia” Serhii Leshchenko reported that acting Minister of Energy Olha Buslavets initiates the shutdown of three NPP units with a capacity of 3,000 MW and the reduction of production at another 5 units.
According to him, after such initiatives, Buslavets practically lost its chances of being approved in the parliament. Gerus also opposes such a large-scale shutdown of the NPP.
