Australia provided assistance to Ukraine in the form of 49 Abrams tanks and 14 boats. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga during a press conference, the correspondent reports UNN.

“We are deeply grateful for the military aid, in particular, the recent provision of 49 Abrams tanks and 14 boats. And the total amount of Australian aid amounted to more than 1 billion dollars, of which 880 million is military aid,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs noted.

Also, Andrii Sybiga added that he has requested additional military support, which will include the famous Australian Bushmaster and other weapons.

“We will also offer to take into account the needs of Ukraine when decommissioning the military equipment that is in service with the Australian Defense Forces,” Andrii Sybiga said.
