ATP rating. Ukraine has a new leader again. But it is difficult to call him Ukrainian

Oleg Prykhodko overtook Oleksandr Ovcharenko, and there will be no changes in the top 10”, — write: sport.ua

ATP published an updated version of the world rating. The Davis Cup playoffs were played last week, for which no points were awarded. So there were no changes in the top 10.

Yannick Sinner, who won the unofficial World Cup with the Italian national team, will end the season with his first racket. Alexander Zverev is in second place, Carlos Alcaraz rounded out the top 3.

The famous Novak Djokovic is seventh. The legendary Rafael Nadal played the last match of his professional career at the Davis Cup. In the new rating update, he still appeared – the 155th racket in the world.

Top 10 of the ATP rating

A new leader has appeared in Ukraine again. After Oleksandr Ovcharenko, who last week became the first racket of the country for the first time, Oleg Prykhodko rose to the top of Ukrainian tennis. True, it is quite difficult to call him Ukrainian.

Starting from April 2022, Oleg played seven tournaments together with players from the aggressor countries. Pryhodko’s girlfriend is Russian tennis player Ksenia Laskutova, who is an ardent supporter of Margarita Simonyan. Laskutova even posted on Instagram a photo of Oleg’s face with a Russian flag superimposed on it.

Prykhodko has “own views” on the game with the Russians, and Laskutov does not differ in “intelligence and intelligence”, so it is not worth mentioning this character again.

Ovcharenko is in 332nd place and, we hope, will soon overtake Prykhodko, who, unfortunately, has a Ukrainian passport.
