The trip is carried out under the guise of the educational project “Pride of the Nation. Path of Development”, but actually serves to integrate children into the military structure of Russia and to form a loyal reserve.

Teenagers are trained in “Avangard”, where they are taught to work with drones and military specialties, and also impose ideological narratives.
The selection of participants was carried out under administrative pressure through schools, where leaders were given clear plans for the number of children, and families were under pressure from the occupation authorities.
The head of the occupied Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, coordinates this activity as part of his own propaganda campaign, with an emphasis on creating propaganda personnel and limiting the spiritual independence of children.
“At the same time, an ideological block was imposed on them: visits to the Mamayev mound, “patriotic” ceremonies and museum propaganda of war. Children are purposefully formed to perceive war as a norm,” the Center’s analysts write.
According to the sources of the CNS, participants for the project were selected through schools and lyceums under administrative pressure. Plans for the number of children were “discharged” to the heads of educational institutions, and parents were actually left with no alternative – participation was presented as a “mandatory recommendation”.
Some families were directly hinted at possible problems with benefits, social assistance and academic performance if refused.
The Central Committee separately notes the participation in similar projects of the occupying governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Salda, who uses them as an element of his own propaganda campaign. According to the CNS, it is through its apparatus that logistics, lists of children and interaction with Russian military-patriotic centers are coordinated.
In addition, it is planned to create cadet classes in the region, which will teach children the system of hierarchy and unconditional submission. Such initiatives testify to Russia’s intentions to form a loyal generation ready to support its military policy.
In the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, the occupation authorities are preparing a new draft of young people to join the Russian army. Men born in 1996-2008 are under attack, and law enforcement agencies have received the right to use coercion. Mass involvement of people in the war becomes an obvious plan of the occupiers.
