Truck drivers encountered serious obstacles at the Krakivets – Korchova checkpoint.
This was reported by the State Border Service.
The Polish Customs Service has reported a slowdown in the database, due to which the registration of cargo vehicles has been temporarily suspended.
This applies mainly to vans with cargo for departure from Ukraine, where processes are slowed down due to technical problems.
Empty trucks are inspected as usual without significant delays. Cars, buses and pedestrians cross the border without changes, because the restriction affects only commercial transport.
The State Border Service of Ukraine advises drivers to follow updates and choose alternative routes.
According to preliminary data, the complete restoration of the database is expected by 22:00 Kyiv time on January 18, 2026. Such disruptions highlight the vulnerability of logistics chains in the region, where thousands of tons of goods are bound for Europe every day.
Drivers are already reporting queues of several hours, making it difficult to deliver products and materials.
We will remind you that the Ministry of Education does not consider the decision to release 18-22-year-olds abroad to be a disaster.
Also, in December, the number of attempts to illegally cross the border of Ukraine decreased by 20%.
