As Sport.ua learned, the Shakhtar midfielder Artem Bondarenko will receive a call-up to the national team of Ukraine for the League of Nations match in October. Bondarenko, 24, has been in good form for the club, scoring four goals in his last two UPL matches.
In addition, Serhii Rebrov has personnel problems. Ruslan Malinovsky will not come to the national team due to an injury, and Oleksandr Zinchenko does not play much for Arsenal. The challenge of Serhiy Sydorchuk, who has no game practice at Westerlo, is in question.
Artem Bondarenko played only for the youth national team of Ukraine. He has not yet made his debut at the national team level.
On October 11, the national team will play against Georgia, and on the 14th, the second match will be played against the Czech Republic.
