In accordance with the sixth clause of Article 36 of the “Regulations of the Football Championship of Ukraine among the teams of the Ukrainian Premier League clubs”, Turan will be disqualified for the next UPL match against “Colossus” due to a series of yellow cards.
“For every four yellow cards received in UPL Championship matches, a football player/official representative shall be suspended for one match. The suspension takes place in the matches of the Championship without a decision of the 93 KDC UAF. This suspension does not apply to other competitions, as well as to matches of the playoff stage,” the article of the regulation says.
This is Arda’s sixth yellow card in all competitions – he was previously cautioned in matches against Karpaty, Obolon, Polissia twice and Shamrock Rovers. In addition, Turan received a red card in the LE qualification against Panathinaikos.
