As the AP agency reports with reference to the company’s management, Fire Point created a supervisory board on November 12, which included Pompeo and three other unnamed individuals.
“We decided that since we are growing into a large international company, we should ensure that the clearest and best corporate standards are followed… We are developing as a company, and we need a wise advisory board to help us get this work right,” said Iryna Terek, Chief Technical Officer of Fire Point.
According to AP, Fire Point is building a new plant in Denmark and bringing in prominent industry figures, but public attention remains on edge amid an ongoing corruption investigation. Fire Point executives insist they have nothing to hide and operate under strict martial law protocols, even ordering an independent audit to placate investigators. Critics, however, question the company’s opaque origins and monopoly on its contracts with the Ministry of Defense, and point to alleged ties to Timur Mindic.
“In general, it’s good that they are working on it. As a company, we fully support the fact that this investigation is taking place,” Terech said.
She added that Fire Point commissioned a major international firm to conduct an independent audit of its pricing and production to allay concerns.

The Kyiv Independent published the Fire Point company with Timur Mindich, a businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, and reported in August that the NABU is investigating its possible overpricing of drones for the Ministry of Defense. Representatives of Fire Point stated that the inspection is based on rumors of opponents, concerns six companies and assures that Mindich, a former business partner of the President of Ukraine, is not involved with the manufacturer. NABU and SAP stated that they are not conducting an investigation into the Flamingo missiles.
RFE/RL appealed to Fire Point for an explanation, but received an answer that it was not yet possible due to the manager’s tight work schedule.
On November 10, NABU announced the disclosure of the activities of a criminal organization, the main focus of which was “systematic obtaining of illegal benefits from Energoatom’s counterparties in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of contracts.”
Among those involved in the case, in particular: Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s former business partner in “Kvartal 95” Timur Mindych, who, according to law enforcement sources, left Ukraine.
