We will remind, on August 6, 2025 VAKS found Salnikov guilty of abuse of influence and appointed three years of imprisonment, justifying him for fraud.

The defense appealed with a request to cancel the sentence and to declare Salnikov innocent under Part 2 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The prosecutor of the appeal did not file.

During the first meeting, the defense requested: to make a new pre -trial report, to conduct auto -critical examination of the statements of Alexei Gonchar and to re -examine a number of evidence. The court denied all requests.

Law enforcement officers completed the investigation and brought to court the case on the Extma Mandidian of the Platoon of Sevastopol Berkut and three former employees of this unit who fled with weapons from the mainland of Ukraine.

The DBR declared suspicions to the soldiers of Sevastopol “Berkut”, who made the first shots on the participants of the Revolution of Dignity on February 20, 2014.
