The speaker of the Belarusian opposition Angelik Melnikov, who disappeared in Poland in March, was in relations with an employee of Belarusian special services. This is stated in the joint investigation of the Russian opposition edition of The Insider, the Polish weekly Polityka, as well as Belarusian opposition organizations – the Belarusian Investigation Center and Bypol. The lover of 37-year-old Angelika Melnikova is 32-year-old Alexei Lobeev, who has a cover passport in the name of Alexei Gordeev.

– They started To meet no later than 2023 – at least from August 26 to September 5, they already flew to Cuba together. Interestingly, Lobeyev planned to fly to Cuba with Angelica from Moscow, but apparently she did not risk flying through Russia and went to the island from Europe: judging by the passenger manifesto, Angelika did not use the moms with the same cubs. Savchenko, – the investigation says.

Judging from the border crossing base, from January 16 to January 21, 2024 Lobeev flew to Sri Lanka, and on the same days there was Angelika. Then he made her an offer and gave her a ring. In January 2024, after traveling to Sri Lanka, she looked happy and told her friend about engagement with her husband who “lives in Belarus, who cannot come to the EU countries, so they meet in exotic countries.”

Lobeyev did not lead social networks and lit up only once in the West with the participation of the Belarusian military in a military hospital in Grodno in 2019. The same photo was the then head of the game of Belarus Ruslan Kosygin. Lobeev was born into a family of Belarusian military and graduated from the Faculty of Military at Belarusian State University. Since 2017, Lobeev has been married.

– The BSU Faculty is preparing staff for both the game and the KGB, and both agencies can issue cover documents, so it is difficult to establish affiliation uniquely (as in Russia, possible and intermediate variant – military counterintelligence), – the journalists said.

The investigation ends with the fact that “with a greater degree of confidence it can be argued that Angelica’s engagement will not end with weddings.”

Angelika Melnikov disappeared after 26 February with her daughters flew from Warsaw to London. On March 3, her (ex) man, Andrey Melnikov, went from Poland to Belarus. On February 25, a day before departure, she reserved her accommodation at Araliya Beach Resort & Spa in Unavatun (Sri Lanka).

From February 28 to March 7, Angelika and children were at the hotel. On March 5, two days before the departure from Sri Lanka, a large amount was transferred to Melnikova-part of the grant received for the work of the Coordination Council. Another major transfer was made on March 18. In total, about $ 150,000 disappeared from the account.

On March 7, Melnikov and her daughters left Sri Lanka and flew to Dubai Fly Dubai flight (this was her third visit to the UAE since the beginning of last year, and she also made a flight through Dubai in January and July 2024). Since then, it should be lost.

Angelika Melnikov is a former spokesman for the Coordinating Council of the Belarusian opposition. The disappearance in March was announced by the Belarusian oppositionist Pavel Latushko, the head of the National Anti -crisis management. Prior to the protests of 2020, Melnikova worked in the board of the Belarusian branch of Coca-Cola. After two penalties for a single picket of 2021, she left Belarus – first to Kiev, and later to Poland. At the end of 2024 Melnikov acquired Polish citizenship.
