Sibiga informed Kallas about the consequences of the night shelling, during which civilians and energy infrastructure objects were damaged.
“He thanked the EU for consistent support of Ukraine and emphasized the need to further increase pressure on Russia. They exchanged views on the latest developments in efforts for peace and coordinated the next steps,” said the head of the MFA.
“I am also grateful for the invitation to join the meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs, which will take place tomorrow. This will be a timely opportunity to coordinate efforts to force Russia to end the war and take steps to strengthen Ukraine’s defense and stability,” he added.
