Andrei RUBLYOV: “I developed bipolar disorder”

He claims that it is easier for him, but there are doubts…”, — write: sport.ua

Russian Andrei Rublev (ATP 9) told what psychological problems he faced after the defeat of Francisco Comesagna in the first round of Wimbledon-2024:

“It was the worst moment I’ve ever faced with myself. It wasn’t because of tennis. It was related to myself, as if after that moment I saw no point in living. For what?

It sounds too dramatic, but the thoughts in my head were just killing me, causing a lot of anxiety and I couldn’t deal with it anymore. I started having bipolar disorder. I don’t know if I can say it like that. But the one who started it is me. I feel better now. I see what’s going on.”

Rublev, who acts in a “neutral” status, is “famous” for his psychos on the court. He repeatedly used foul language and also smashed his knees when he hit them with the racket.
