Yelena overtook Mirra Andreeva in terms of points scored in 2025 and became the last participant of the Final, which will take place on the courts of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from November 1 to 8.
Rybakina was significantly behind Andreeva, but thanks to the trophy in the five-hundredth in Ningbo last week and two victories in Tokyo, she was still ahead of the “neutral”.
Rybakina will play at the WTA Finals for the third year in a row. Yelena has never made it to the Pidsumkovo playoffs.
