An unexpected choice. Manchester United is negotiating with three coaches

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United, after the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, is inclined to appoint a temporary coach until the end of the season, and during this time to choose another coach for the next championship.

Interestingly, Manchester United have decided to start consultations with three of their former players who have already worked with the team.

Negotiations are underway with former Manchester United midfielders Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher, as well as striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Fletcher took over the coaching role following Amorim’s departure, while Solskjaer worked with Manchester United from 2018 to 2021. He was released from Besiktas this season.

Carrick was United’s interim manager in 2021 and has since worked with Middlesbrough.

It is reported that Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner remains the main contender, but he is expected to be invited from the summer.
