The pre-trial investigation is conducted within the framework of criminal proceedings opened under Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war. Procedural management is carried out by the Shevchenkiv District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv.
“According to the investigation, on September 21, at around 11:00 p.m., the Russian armed forces carried out another airstrike on Kharkiv. The bomb exploded a few meters from the entrance to a 16-story building in the Shevchenkiv district of the city. Three minors were injured: an 8-year-old girl and a 17-year-old a year-old boy and girl.Nighboring high-rise buildings and more than 25 cars were also damaged.
According to preliminary data, the blow was caused by a FAB-250 bomb with an UMPK module. Prosecutors and police investigators are actively working on documenting this war crime committed by the Russian military,” the message reads.
