Prosecutors proved in court that in 2022, a 50-year-old man from Kyiv went over to the side of the Russian special services and collected military data for the enemy.
In order to carry out an enemy mission, he got a job at one of the capital’s factories, which fulfilled state defense orders, the SBU says.
The person involved forwarded the received intelligence via messenger to the Russian curator, who then “reported” to the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Also, during the defense of the Kyiv region, the traitor monitored and transmitted information about the consequences of rocket and artillery attacks, including photos from the site of the attacks and data on the positions of Ukrainian troops, roadblocks and engineering fortifications.
Fedotov was exposed at the beginning of February 2023.
The person involved in the case was in custody waiting for the court’s verdict. He did not admit his guilt in court.
