Serhii Flesh stated that chatted with military Maruseya Zvirobiy, who made a corresponding statement and complained about the problems at the front due to the Starlink disconnection. She too stated that because of this punishment the commanders and signalmen receive.
He noted that the partial shutdowns of the terminals are related to testing communications due to the Russian attacks on Starlink, and emphasized the global risks behind these decisions.
“I understand that as a result of short deadlines, someone had problems with the work of some private Starlinks. But these short terms were not for nothing! Yes, some NRCs did not go, yes, some were left without communication, but believe me, all this is much better than a massive strike on Starlinks throughout the country. When the Ministry of Defense makes some decisions, it sees the whole situation and risks more globally than someone at some part of the front,” Flesh wrote.
Serhii Flesh noted that the short timeframe for Starlink activation also depended on the SpaceX partner. He explained that this is the first experience for the company and they have their own requirements.
Flash also noted that according to the reports to the Central Committee from all fronts, blocking the Starlink of the Russians was successful, without problems for the Armed Forces. The adviser to the Minister of Defense added that he shared this personal opinion on the network as a person, and not as a representative of the Ministry of Defense.
