The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined LLC “Construction Department of Mechanization” (Vinnytsia) and LLC “Bridge Construction Squad No. 112” (Brovary) in the amount of UAH 106 million for anti-competitive concerted actions at tenders for major repairs of bridges and roads. It is noted that these companies participated in 10 procurements for the overhaul and reconstruction of overpasses, bridges and roads in 2019-2021, carried out by highway services in Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Zhytomyr regions and SE “Agency of Local Highways”. The total cost of works at the auction was more than UAH 600 million. Advertising: As a result of the investigation of the case, the AMCU discovered concerted actions of the companies to participate in the auction, which led to the elimination of competition between them. A fine of UAH 106 million was imposed on the company for violating the legislation. In addition, these companies will not be able to participate in public procurement for three years. The owners and beneficiaries of Construction Management Mechanization LLC are Alina Yavorska and Vladyslav Fedko.
