Ambassador of Ukraine hopes that Israel will hand over captured Russian weapons from Hamas and Hezbollah

The Ambassador of Ukraine welcomed the proposal of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel to transfer to Ukraine Russian weapons captured by the IDF in Lebanon, the Gaza Strip or the West Bank of the Jordan River. Yevhen Korniychuk emphasized that both countries are fighting against a common enemy. The Times of Israel writes about it, reports UNN.

“I welcome this proposal and hope that the State of Israel will approve it. Russian-made weapons in the hands of terrorist organizations prove that Russia supports and encourages Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas and all those who seek to kill Israeli citizens and soldiers,” said Yevhen Korniychuk.

“What else has to happen for the State of Israel to wake up and realize that Russia is acting aggressively against Israel behind the scenes, through partners on the axis of evil, and that Ukraine and Israel are fighting the same enemies.”

Successive Israeli governments have refused to supply weapons to Ukraine throughout the war, and despite Haskell’s proposal, there are no signs that this policy will change, the Times of Israel writes.
