Ambassador Ilashchuk asks not to politicize the murder case in Austria, where her stepson is the suspect

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria, Olesya Ilashchuk, urged not to connect the murder case, in which her stepson Bohdan Rynzhuk is accused, with her diplomatic activities and not to politicize the case.

Details: According to Ilashchuk, Rynchuk is undergoing all legal procedural actions within the framework of the current legislation of Ukraine and the European Union. “I would like to emphasize separately that it is incorrect to link the procedural status of my son with my diplomatic service or resort to political interpretations of this situation,” she said.

• On December 18, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv arrested two suspects in the murder of the son of Kharkiv Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kuzmin, Danylo, which was committed in Austria in November.
• According to “Ukrainian Pravda” the suspects are Oleksandr Agoev and Bohdan Rynzhukwho, according to the media, is the stepson of Olesya Ilashchuk, who was appointed at the end of 2022 as the ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria (indicated in her declarations – ed.).
