Ukrainian enterprises are actively increasing the production of long-range unmanned systems, and already next year scaling will give a tangible result.

In an interview with NV, the commander of the 1st separate center of the Unmanned Systems Forces on the pseudo-Charlie said this.

“I will not name the specific names or brands of the means used by our unit. I will tell you frankly that 95% of all long-range weapons are Ukrainian, our domestic products,” the military officer said.

According to him, the unit previously received drones from partner countries for a certain period of time. It was a kind of testing of unmanned systems developed by the allies. At the same time, the reaction of partners to the remarks and identified shortcomings of the UAV was sometimes “not as desired.”

Subsequently, Ukrainian manufacturers focused specifically on the development of long-range unmanned systems. As a result, it was possible to reach a level at which there are currently no problems with provisioning in the 1st separate center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

“I wish there were more resources. But the tasks and challenges that are currently in front of our unit, we cover with the number of drones that we have,” Charlie emphasized.

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian enterprise Frontline Robotics in partnership with the German defense giant Quantum Systems is increasing the production capacity of the Linz unmanned bomber as part of the strategic initiative Build with Ukraine.
