The Ukrainian interdepartmental system “War Criminal” currently contains data on almost 900,000 people involved in crimes against Ukraine, including military personnel, employees of special services, propagandists and mercenaries of private military companies.
This was informed by the Communications Department of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) based on the results of strategic meetings in Washington.
The National Police also documented more than 185,000 war crimes, and Ukrainian investigators informed their American partners about their work in the de-occupied territories, where torture and mass burials are recorded.
American law enforcement officers assessed the prospects of operational information exchange to increase the effectiveness of joint work on identification and preventing the movement of war criminals through Western countries.

The NPU emphasized that crimes against US citizens have the same brutal nature as crimes against Ukrainians.
During the meetings at the FBI, the Ukrainian side presented detailed analytical materials on the activities of the Wagner, Redoubt, and other proxy structures of Russia and their presence in various countries. Russian hybrid activities, in particular the use of drones in the airspace of European states, became a separate aspect of the negotiations. The NPU provided an analysis of more than a hundred incidents involving so-called “unknown drones.”
