The striker moved from Wolverhampton to Crystal Palace for €49.7 million, beating the club’s previous transfer record by almost €10 million, which was also set this season.
Already the previous most expensive transfer in the history of Crystal Palace was the transfer of Brennan Johnson from Tottenham for 40 million euros.
