Almost 1,700 disabled officials will be sent for re-examination, – Ministry of Health

A special interdepartmental working group will check 1,695 officials for the validity of establishing their disability. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Health.

“As of the end of November 2024, the group, according to the information of the Security Service of Ukraine, the SBU and the Prosecutor General’s Office, formed a list of 1,695 officials from more than 30 state bodies. They have been sent to carry out an examination on the validity of the decisions made in relation to them by the medical and social expert commissions,” the message reads.

In particular, as noted in the Ministry of Health, among the selected cases that are subject to review: 32% – employees of the tax service of Ukraine; 26% – employees of prosecutor’s offices; 17% – employees of the customs service; 25% are employees of other state bodies.

As the ministry added, the list of persons whose cases are subject to review increases as additional data is received from representatives of law enforcement agencies.

Over the next two months, the validity of the decisions of the MSEC regarding the establishment of disability for officials will continue, and in the case of unjustified adoption of such decisions, their revisions will be carried out in accordance with the resolution of the CMU dated 03.12.2009 No. 1317.

As the Ministry of Health reminded, the interagency working group included representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Agency for Civil Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, the National Police of Ukraine, regional and Kyiv city military administrations.

As reported, on October 5, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained and informed about the suspicion of illegal enrichment of the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise. Before that, on October 3 and 4, law enforcement officers conducted a series of searches in the offices and residences of the official and her close relatives, and found millions in cash and other valuables.

Later, the journalists found out that 49 prosecutors of the Khmelnytsky region were disabled of the 2nd group – according to the decision of the chief doctor of the MSEK Tetyana Krupa. And for many years they received and continue to receive disability pensions from the state – according to the decisions of the head of the Pension Fund Oleksandr Krupa, who is the son of Tetiana Krupa.

The Office of the Prosecutor General has published its data on prosecutors with disabilities.
