Since the beginning of the summer of 2025, about 147,000 citizens have been evacuated from the frontline regions of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, more than 16,500 children and 5,000 people with limited mobility are among the evacuees.

The largest number of people left Donetsk (92,400) and Dnipropetrovsk (35,000) regions, and a significant number of residents also left dangerous areas of Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Kherson Oblast, and Zaporizhzhia.

21 transit centers have been deployed in the country to support displaced persons. The busiest are the points in Pavlohrad, Voloske and Lozova. In these centers, people receive a full range of assistance: from food and medicine to legal advice on restoring documents and processing government payments.

Deputy Minister Oleksiy Ryabikin assured that the state is ready for a possible increase in the flow of evacuees. In the event of an aggravation of the security situation, the authorities will promptly open additional transit sites so that everyone fleeing shelling can receive adequate shelter and social support.

In the border communities of the Sumy region, the evacuation of the civilian population continues due to the threat of Russian attacks, in particular, part of the residents of the Krasnopil community were taken out by armored vehicles.

According to Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development, the situation in the south of Odesa region is stable, no evacuation measures are planned. Life in Izmail, Reni and other settlements on the Dniester is secured, and local authorities are working on expanding logistics for the delivery of food, medicine and pension payments.

In the Zaporizhia region, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate 105 children together with their parents from two villages of Vozdvizhivska and Novooleksandrivska communities.
