All this should have been done earlier: People’s Deputy Oleksiy Kucherenko on the state of emergency in the energy sector

The state of emergency in the energy sector should have been introduced much earlier. I said this personally two years ago to Shmyhal. And I told Svyridenko that too. The state of emergency in the energy sector should have been introduced much earlier.

I said this personally two years ago to Shmyhal. And I told Svyridenko that too. And he spoke from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

However, I don’t know what exactly this means. There is no such thing in the laws. It is necessary to prescribe emergency solutions in the legislation and define our opportunities in energy. So that the system of energy security and preservation of stability works. They just announced it so far.

But I don’t want to criticize anything right now. I am not interested in their slogans – show me the documents, show me how it will be spelled out on paper. Perhaps it will be a government resolution or a presidential decree. I don’t know yet, I’ll have to watch.

As for the curfew and the possibility of relaxing it — well, the president is absolutely right here. Why not? This is necessary. For example, to go at night to save a retired mother from the cold – well, what is the curfew in this case?
