On the night of November 15, Russian troops attacked Odesa with two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the Black Sea, and also launched 29 Shahed attack drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region over Ukraine. This was announced by the Air Force Command on Friday morning.

“As of 08:30, the downing of one Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 25 strike UAVs has been confirmed. The vast majority of aerial targets were shot down in Odesa region,” the summary says.

In addition, air defense was operating in Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Ternopil regions, the military added.

Earlier, the local authorities reported a death as a result of Russia’s attack on Odesa. Later, the State Emergency Service clarified that the number of victims increased to 10.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by Russia.
