On the night of October 13, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 68 attack drones (launch areas: Kursk, Orel in the Russian Federation), and also struck Poltava region and Odesa region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and occupied Crimea and two guided air by Kh-59 missiles – over Chernihiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast from the airspace of Kursk Oblast, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.

“As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 31 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions. 36 Russian drones were lost in location in various regions of Ukraine, presumably as a result of active countermeasures by the WEB. The information is being clarified,” the message reads.

According to the Air Force, one drone is still in the air, “combat work continues.”

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
