Air defense forces shot down 51 Russian drones

Literally: “On the night of December 18, 2024 (from 7:00 p.m. on December 17), the enemy attacked the 81st strike UAV of the “Shahed” type and drones of other types from the Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel regions of the Russian Federation.

As of 09:00, the downing of 51 “Shahed” type attack UAVs and drones of other types in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia regions has been confirmed.

As a result of active countermeasures by the Defense Forces, 30 enemy drone simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences).”

Details: It is reported that no hits were recorded, no information about destruction or casualties was received.

The air attack of the occupiers was repulsed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
