Details: The operational command posted a standard message that in connection with the activity of the Russian strategic aviation, which strikes the territory of Ukraine, Poland raised its military aircraft into the air.

These actions are of a preventive nature and are aimed at ensuring the safety of the airspace and its protection, in particular in the areas adjacent to the threatened territories,” the announcement reads.
The raising of aviation by Poland, and recently also by Romania, has become a standard practice after the cases when aerial targets, with which the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine, flew into the territory of neighboring countries.

- On December 6, in a Polish city in the Lublin Voivodeship, air raid sirens sounded during an attack on Ukraine, later it called a mistake. Then in Poland aviation was also raised.
