The Central Election Commission of Georgia officially announced the results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26. The pro-Russian ruling party Georgian Dream won the majority — 53.93% (89 mandates out of 150), reports News of Georgia on Saturday, November 16.
The remaining seats in the parliament were divided between four opposition parties:
- The Coalition For Changes won 11.03% of the votes (19 mandates);
- Unity — National Movement — 10.17% (16 mandates);
- Coalition Strong Georgia — 8.81% (14 mandates);
- Giorgi Gakharia for Georgia — 7.78% (12 mandates).

According to the CEC, more than 2.1 million people out of 3.5 million who have the right to vote took part in the elections. About 34,900 ballots were declared invalid.

Elections in Georgia on October 26 – what is known
On October 27, the website of the Georgian Election Commission reported that the pro-Russian party Georgian Dream won 54.24% of the votes based on the results of processing the ballots at 99% of the polling stations.
Opposition Georgian parties did not recognize the election results and announced protests.
On October 28, a protest was held in Tbilisi, where Georgian opposition parties demanded re-elections.
On October 30, an investigation into possible falsification of the recent parliamentary elections began in Georgia.
On October 31, the Central Election Commission of Georgia announced that the recount of votes confirmed the victory of the Georgian Dream.
